We are delighted to announce that US-based partner Christopher Corey has joined the club as the Head of Global Development, taking a seat on the Walton & Hersham FC board.

Based in Florida, Christopher holds a wealth of experience in brand engagement, advertising, and sports management, skillsets vital to further unlocking the potential of the club on the global stage. Christopher’s notable experiences include 12 years in sports advertising, acting as the Official Liaison to World Cup 2026 for the City of Miami, ownership of a USL Women’s team, and the continued operation of a large youth football facility in his hometown of Palm City, FL.

Despite being based across the pond, Christopher has followed the Swans with keen interest over the past season and a half, engaging in consistent positive dialogue with the W&H Board throughout 2023. The club’s social media presence, not least through a sizeable US audience, provides a fantastic springboard for growth and marketing opportunities, and the current Board look forward to working closely with Christopher to bring to fruition a number of exciting plans over the coming months.

Christopher Corey commented: “I am truly honoured to be appointed to the Walton & Hersham FC board.  My first job is to earn this designation and show my value to the supporters, players and staff. At this stage, and speaking directly to everyone at the club, I promise to set ambitious goals and to work relentlessly to bring the right opportunities through the door and ensure the club continues to succeed both on and off the field.”

Thomas Bradbury, Head of Club Development, is similarly upbeat: “Christopher is someone who we’ve been acquainted with for some time now, and it’s evident he shares the desire and vision required to further propel the club’s extraordinary growth. With Christopher having already been present for the five-star performances against Chertsey Town and Binfield in March, we are absolutely convinced of his commitment and passion toward the project.

We always strive to be as ambitious as possible, and the addition of Christopher to the board is a positive step towards Walton & Hersham FC becoming a truly global football club. We are all very excited to have him on board as we look ahead to the 23/24 season.”

All at the club welcome Christopher on board and offer him our best wishes in his new role.
