Speaking to the club, Billy expressed his excitement at being handed the role, and the prospect of continuing the club’s success in the coming seasons. “I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to take the helm at Walton & Hersham, and to carry on the momentum here. Having been here for four years already, I feel an immensely strong connection to the club, its supporters, and the wider community, and can’t wait to get to work in my new role.”

Club Directors Sartej Tucker, Calogero Scannella, and Christopher Corey also shared their excitement about Billy’s appointment. “We’re thrilled to have come to an agreement with Billy that will keep him at the club until at least 2026. Having been an integral part of the club’s recent success, we have every confidence that Billy will be able to build upon our achievements of the past four seasons, employing the same brand of attractive football that has helped fuel the club’s incredible growth.”

We are also pleased to confirm that Darren Simpson has been appointed as First Team Assistant Manager, promoted from the role of First Team Coach.

Billy has also made several additions to his backroom team, which the club hopes to confirm in full detail in due course.
