The Swans come into this match off the back of a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Farnham Town last Saturday, failing to replicate their comeback from a two-goal deficit against Raynes Park Vale a week prior.

In spite of the result, there were still positives to be found in the defeat as new signing Dawid Rogalski continued his fine pre-season form, notching a third goal for the Swans in as many appearances.

Since the defeat, Walton & Hersham have made yet another exciting addition with the signing of former Belgian youth international and ex-Southampton academy player Lucas Defise, following a string of impressive displays as a trialist.

Lewes are yet to taste pre-season victory having lost three and drawn one of their four matches so far, one of which was a 2-0 defeat to League One side Crawley Town. Most recently, the Rooks held East Grinstead to a 0-0 draw.

Manager Billy Rowley will no doubt be looking for his side to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat with a positive display against Lewes. Dawid Rogalski will also be looking to add to his pre-season goal tally in what is set to be an exciting matchup against a new-look Rooks outfit.

Head-to-head
Walton & Hersham and Lewes will be familiar with one another, having spent consecutive seasons in the same league between the 1980-81 and 1991-92 campaigns. The first meeting between the two came at Stompond Lane in the 1970-71 season, with the Swans emerging victorious 1-0. The two sides then last met at the Dripping Pan in January 2004, a match in which the Swans fell to a 3-0 defeat.
