The Swans visit Swindon Supermarine on Tuesday evening in a rescheduled fixture as they look to continue their winning form, having defeated third-placed Gloucester City 2-1 last time out.

Faced with a tough test, the Swans had to fend off pressure from the hosts in the early stages before growing into the game with some good chances, but the two sides went into the break deadlocked. Gloucester came out firing in the second half and took the lead ten minutes in, when a deflected free-kick culminated in Ed Williams smashing the ball into the net from close range. The Swans hit back swiftly however, with Dawid Rogalski tapping home to equalise following a goalmouth scramble. With both sides pushing for all three points, resilient defending and goalkeeping was required at both ends of the pitch to keep things level. The big moment came for the Swans just two minutes from the end of regulation time, when Rogalski fired a shot into the roof of the net from the centre of the box seal a fifth straight away win for for the Swans.

Swindon Supermarine have enjoyed a decent season so far, as they sit in the top half of the table in tenth place. The Marine were victorious in their last game, securing a 2-0 win at Marlow to end a five-game winless run.

Having earned a huge three points in their previous outing, Billy Rowley will be hoping his side can maintain their unbeaten run in 2025, as they continue their efforts to secure a play-off spot.

Head-to-head
Walton & Hersham have met Swindon Supermarine just twice, with both encounters coming as part of last season’s league campaign. It was an opening day victory for the Swans as they won 4-2 at the Hub, but they were unable to replicate this in the return fixture, falling to a 2-1 defeat in January 2024.
