The Swans continue their pre-season campaign on Tuesday evening with a trip to nearby rivals Metropolitan Police.
Our winless start to our pre-season continued on Saturday as we fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of National League South side Dagenham & Redbridge, who boasted ex-Premier League striker Andy Carroll in their starting lineup. An early goal was all that separated the sides at the Hub.
Met Police were victorious in their latest outing, securing a thumping 8-1 victory over Deportivo Galicia following consecutive losses to National League sides Woking and Aldershot Town.
Billy Rowley will be keen for his side to get off the mark as we continue our preparations for the 2025/26 campaign with our neighbours likely to provide another tough test.
Head-to-head
The Swans have encountered Met Police 51 times since the 1947/48 season and have been victorious in 26 of those meetings. We won our last matchup with our local rivals, securing a dominant 6-1 triumph in the round-of-16 of last season’s Surrey Senior Cup, a result that proved pivotal as we went on to win the trophy.
Match information
The game will kick off at 7:45pm on Tuesday 22nd July, at Imber Court, Ember Lane, East Molesey – KT8 OBT. Tickets are available to purchase on the day at the gate, with cash.
