The Swans face a quick turnaround as we travel to face Berkhamsted on Tuesday evening, just three days after defeating Bracknell Town 3-2.
We made a sensational comeback against the Robins as we fought back from two goals down to take all three points in a dramatic affair. Having trailed 2-0 at the break, Johl Powell handed us a lifeline with a well-taken finish on the hour mark. Jack Wood then pulled us level with under 15 minutes remaining when he found the top corner with an incredible effort from the edge of the box.
Dawid Rogalski completed the remarkable turnaround in the third minute of stoppage time. Zach Alfalahi played a troubling cross across the face of goal which the Bracknell defenders failed to deal with, allowing the Polish Pele to tuck home from close range and win us the game.
Berkhamsted are winless in their last four league games. The Comrades drew 2-2 with Plymouth Parkway in their latest outing having lost their previous two to Uxbridge and Wimborne Town respectively.
Billy Rowley will be eager for us to keep up our winning form as we look to make it five consecutive victories in the league and also build momentum ahead of this weekend’s huge FA Cup clash with Chippenham Town.
Head-to-head
This will be our first ever meeting with Berkhamsted since their formation in 2009.
However, we have visited Broadwater on four occasions when we played their predecessor Berkhamsted Town prior to folding.
Match information
The game will kick off at 7:45pm on Tuesday 23rd September, at The Glencar Community Stadium, Broadwater, Lower Kings Road, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire – HP4 2AL. Tickets are available to purchase on the day at the gate.
