The Swans are back at the Hub for the first time in two weeks as we host Evesham United in a return to league action.
We began our FA Cup journey with a 2-0 win at Three Bridges in our last outing. Johl Powell opened the scoring moments into the second-half with a fine half-volley finish on the rebound after Mason Obeng saw a thumping effort saved.
With 10 minutes remaining, Diamond Edwards and Anis Nuur launched a swift counterattack, ending in the former winning a penalty. Anis stepped up to take the spot kick and calmly slotted it away to send us through to the Second Qualifying Round.
Evesham have endured a mixed start to life in the Southern League Premier Division South after achieving promotion last season. The Robins are currently on a four-game winless run in the league after securing a 3-1 victory at Weymouth on the opening day. They will have a spring in their step upon their visit to the Hub however, after they defeated Bromsgrove Sporting 5-2 in the FA Cup last time out.
Billy Rowley will be aware that Evesham will provide a tough test despite their recent form, but he will be eager for us to pick up another three points as we look to continue our current winning run.
Head-to-head
We have never encountered Evesham in our history, but have faced off against a side from Worcestershire before.
That meeting came over 30 years ago in 1992 when Kidderminster Harriers travelled to Stompond Lane for an FA Challenge Trophy First Round tie. The then-Conference side came away from the lane with a 2-0 victory.
