The Swans welcome South Park Reigate to the Hub as we begin our defence of the Surrey Senior Cup on Tuesday evening.

We continued our brilliant form last time out with a thumping 5-1 win over Hendon in the FA Trophy. Shaun Lucien pounced on a loose back pass to put the Greens ahead, but captain Anis Nuur managed to bring us level with a great strike before half-time. We turned the tie on its head minutes after the break when Dawid Rogalski met a teasing cross by Johl Powell at the back post.

In similar fashion to his first, Nuur grabbed his second soon after when he placed a low effort in the bottom corner. Substitute Ryan Danso had an instant impact off the bench as he set Jack Wood up for our number 11 to make it four. Another special moment came for a Swans academy player as Zidane Yousuf, making his first team debut, rounded off the scoring with an incredible volleyed effort from the edge of the box.

South Park extended their unbeaten run to five in their last outing, securing a 1-0 victory at Bedfont Sports. Shamal Edwards grabbed the only goal from the penalty spot to keep his sides’ hopes of breaking into the play-off spots alive.

Billy Rowley will be eager for us to begin our defence of the county cup positively and he will be hoping we can rise to the occasion tomorrow night.

Head-to-head

Despite our relatively close proximity, we have met South Park Reigate just nine times over the years, winning just two of those clashes. One of those triumphs came last season on our way to securing our first Surrey Senior Cup title in 52 years.

We hosted the Sparks in the quarter-final and managed a 2-0 win with Mason Obeng and Alex Body finding the back of the net.

The game will kick off at 7:45pm on Tuesday 28 October, at the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub – KT12 2JP. Tickets are priced at £10 for Adults, £5 for Seniors/Concessions, £2 for Next-Gen (13-21), and free for U12s. Tickets are available to purchase on the day at the gate, with either cash or card, or can be purchased beforehand by following this link.
