The Swans welcome Farnborough to the Hub on Saturday afternoon for a colossal clash in the second round of the FA Trophy.
We managed a convincing 4-0 win over Weymouth in our last outing to maintain our seven-point lead at the top of the league table. Joey Jones put us ahead with a looping header to open his account for the season before Jack Wood doubled our lead before half-time. Johl Powell brought down a superb long ball by Aaron Fernandez and fired in from an angle to make it three and Dawid Rogalski rounded off the scoring with a clinical finish soon after.
Farnborough have had a mixed start to the season and currently sit 20th in the National League South. However, they did pick up an important three points last time out as they defeated Dorking Wanderers 2-0.
With us facing the prospect of reaching the third round for the first time in over 20 years, Billy Rowley will be hoping we can rise to the occasion and put in a top performance against Boro.
Head-to-head
This will be just our second meeting with Farnborough since they reformed in 2007. Our sole encounter with the Hampshire side came last season’s FA Cup and we secured a 2-1 victory in dramatic fashion. In stoppage time, Johl Powell picked up the ball and skipped round the Boro defence to work his way into the box and fire in the winning goal, sending us into the Third Qualifying Round.

The game will kick off at 3pm on Saturday 15 November, at the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub – KT12 2JP. Tickets are priced at £14 for Adults, £10 for Seniors/Concessions, £7 for Next-Gen (13-21), and £2 for U12s. Tickets are available to purchase on the day at the gate, with either cash or card, or can be purchased beforehand by following this link.
Due to cup regulations, club season tickets are not valid for this match.
