The Swans are in action for the final time in 2025 as we travel to Chertsey Town for a local derby this afternoon.
We managed a convincing victory over Hanwell Town last time out, defeating the Geordies 5-0 in our last home game of the year. Anis Nuur opened the scoring with a sublime strike before Dawid Rogalski ended a swift team move with a neat finish. Mason Obeng added a third in bizarre circumstances when his corner flew over everyone to end up in the back of the net.
Hanwell looked to hit back after the break, but we found our fourth with 10 minutes to play as Rogalski converted from the spot following a foul in the area. Obeng then got in on the action once again with a finish from close range after the crossbar denied Rogalski his hat-trick.
Chertsey defeated Berkhamsted 2-1 before the Christmas break to extend their winning run to four games, having already taken three points from Hungerford Town, Weymouth and Plymouth Parkway.
Jakub Pietrzak will be hoping we can continue our great start to life under his management with a victory to end what has been a brilliant year for the club both on and off the pitch.
Head-to-head
Given our close proximity, we have met Chertsey regularly over the years, facing off 31 times since first meeting in the 1960/61 FA Cup. We have won 23 of those encounters, drawing three and losing five.
How to follow online
We will be providing live updates from our official X (formerly Twitter) account.
