The Swans are in home action for the final time this year as we welcome Hanwell Town to the Hub this afternoon.
Last time out, we secured a shock, but dominant 4-1 victory over National League side Sutton United to progress to the fourth round of the FA Trophy. A stunning Mason Obeng hat-trick and a Dawid Rogalski penalty helped us put the U’s to the sword as we swept them aside comfortably despite the two league difference.
Hanwell fell to defeat at the hands of Hungerford Town in their latest outing as they lost 3-1 at home. A lengthy amount of stoppage time saw the Crusaders grab a second and third goal either side of a Dan Carr consolation penalty.
We have already faced the Geordies this season, losing 1-0 at the Powerday Stadium in the second game of the campaign. That remains our sole defeat in the league.
Jakub Pietrzak will be hoping we can continue our brilliant start to life under his management with another big three points to bring an end to an outstanding year at home.
Head-to-head
Having defeated Hanwell 2-1 in our first meeting during the 2023/24 season, we have gone without victory since, losing twice and drawing twice.
