The Swans are on the road for the third straight game as we travel to face Uxbridge tomorrow afternoon.
We came from behind to draw 2-2 at Poole Town in our last game as we extended our lead at the top of the table to eight points. Dawid Rogalski put us ahead from the penalty spot, but goals from Shaquille Gwengwe either side of half-time saw us fall behind. As the clock ticked into the final 10 minutes, Ethan Light headed in his first goal since joining us in the summer to ensure we took a point from the South Coast.
Uxbridge are currently on a four-game winless run, but did end their losing streak with a 0-0 draw against Weymouth last time out. Prior to that, they fell to Sholing, Farnham Town and Yate Town at home.
Jakub Pietrzak and Joey Jones will be hoping we can bounce back from our previous match with a victory against a side also on the hunt for a win.
Head-to-head
We have plenty of history with Uxbridge, having played them 37 times since first meeting in the 1946/47 season. We have been victorious in 22 of those encounters, drawing two and losing 13.
Our latest set of games against the Reds came during the 2022/23 campaign as we secured a league double with two 3-1 victories. The trip to Honeycroft saw Eddie Simon score the fourth and final hat-trick of his record-breaking four consecutive trebles.
Match information
The game will kick off at 3pm on Saturday 6 December, at Honeycroft, Horton Road, West Drayton, Middlesex – UB7 8HX. Tickets are available to purchase on the day at the gate.
