The Swans host Gosport Borough on Tuesday evening, as they return to the Xcel Sports Hub for their first home game in over a month. Billy Rowley’s side will be undoubtedly be looking to get back to winning ways, having failed to win in any of their last four matches, all of which were played away from home.
Last time out, the Swans bowed out of the FA Trophy at the first hurdle, following a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Ashford United. An early goal by Ronald Sitole was enough to put the Nuts & Bolts into the next round, while a second-half red card for Josh Tobin hindered the Swans’ hopes of an equaliser.
Gosport Borough have enjoyed a mixed start to the league season, winning two, drawing three, and losing three, leaving them sat in 16th position. The Boro’ suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Wealdstone in their last outing, an FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie.
Billy Rowley will be keen for his side to pick up their first league win since September tomorrow evening, returning to the Hub after four consecutive games on the road. Rowley will no doubt be delighted to have the talismanic presence of Dawid Rogalski back in his side, being available for selection once again having now served the entirety of his four-game suspension.

The Swans have met Tuesday’s opponents on just two occasions, with both coming as part of last season’s league campaign. The two sides’ first encounter came away to Gosport Borough and ended in a 2-2 draw, with the Swans letting a two-goal lead slip late.
