The Swans begin our league campaign as we host Plymouth Parkway at the Hub on Saturday afternoon.

We come into the season off the back of a strong pre-season, in which we secured three wins and two draws from six games against tough opponents. Our last outing came last weekend when we beat familiar foes Hanworth Villa 2-1, courtesy of goals from Johl Powell and Dawid Rogalski.

Following on from a 13th place finish last season, the Parkway endured a mixed pre-season campaign. Beginning their preparations with three consecutive defeats, they found winning form as they defeated Buckland Athletic and Truro City in their final two friendlies.

Billy Rowley will be keen for his side to begin the season in the perfect way with a victory against tough opposition.

Head-to-head

We have encountered Plymouth Parkway on four occasions with our first meeting during the 2023/24 Southern League Premier South campaign.

A winless first set of fixtures was followed up with a league double over the Parkway last season. Dawid Rogalski fired us to a 2-1 victory at Bolitho Park in September before we completed the double with an Easter weekend 2-0 win in the return fixture at the Hub.

The game will kick off at 3pm on Saturday 9th August, at the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub – KT12 2JP. Tickets are priced at £14 for Adults, £10 for Seniors/Concessions, £7 for Next- Gen (13-21), and £2 for U12s.
