The Swans are excited to confirm Diamond Edwards has joined the club for the 2025/26 season.

A midfielder, he previously spent time with the academies of Reading and Southampton, making a professional appearance for the latter before leaving to join Port Vale in 2024.

Edwards had loan spells at with National League South sides Weymouth and Hampton & Richmond Borough last season.

He joins the Swans following a trial period during which he impressed in our pre-season friendlies.

On bringing the midfielder to the club, Swans manager Billy Rowley said: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Diamond. He might just be the most talented and skilful player I have ever seen at Walton.

“He is truly eye-catching, and his first training session was a joy to watch. The players were laughing in disbelief at some of the things he was doing with the ball.”

Billy also commented on the serious injury Diamond suffered while a professional at Southampton and said: “He has worked hard to rehab over the past few years, and we believe Walton & Hersham is the perfect place for him to reignite his career and showcase his talent once again.”

Edwards is our sixth new addition of the summer, following the arrivals of Ben Acey, Ethan Light, Jonathon Page, Jack Wood and Zach Alfalahi.
