The Swans head to Hayes & Yeading United on Saturday afternoon to begin our FA Trophy journey in the Third Qualifying Round.

We returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Sholing last time out. A brilliant end-to-end move saw Johl Powell put us ahead after 20 minutes before Mason Obeng put the seal on victory in the second half when he won and converted a penalty.

Hayes & Yeading head into this game on a seven-game winning run in all competitions. Their latest triumph came against AFC Portchester last weekend as they defeated the Royals 3-1.

Billy Rowley will be hoping we can pick up a victory against the Greater London side as we look to go on a cup run following our FA Cup exit at the hands of Chippenham Town last week.

Head-to-head

We have met Hayes & Yeading just twice previously with both encounters coming during the 2023/24 season. John Gilbert netted two penalties in a 2-0 victory over United at the Hub, but we couldn’t secure the double as we were held to a 0-0 draw away from home. Saturday’s hosts were then relegated at the end of the campaign.
