The Swans are excited to confirm the signing of attacker Francis Amartey.

He joins us from Bracknell Town having gained a wealth of experience playing throughout non-league with the likes of Aldershot Town, Weymouth, Slough Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Amartey has also acquired professional experience, spending time in Scotland with Ayr United and within the academy setup of Birmingham City.

He made 23 appearances for the Robins this season before departing at the beginning of the New Year.

Speaking on bringing Amartey into the squad, Swans manager Jakub Pietrzak said: “We are excited to welcome Francis to the club. When I heard he became available, I was interested in a profile like that straight away.

“He’s someone that has a record of scoring goals in the league and has experience of playing professional football. I think he can add value to the squad so when the opportunity arose, I didn’t think twice.”

Francis is in contention to be part of our squad to face Gosport Borough tomorrow afternoon.
