Walton & Hersham FC are excited to confirm Lucas Defise has signed a contract to remain at the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Having first joined us ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, he became an important part of our setup, making 38 appearances and winning the Surrey Senior Cup in his debut year.

Lucas remained a Swan for this season and has continued to be a crucial and versatile asset, being a regular part of our midfield, as well as stepping in at right back when necessary. He has played 26 so far this campaign.

Speaking on agreeing a contract, Lucas said: “I’m delighted to extend my time at the club and excited about what’s ahead. I enjoy being a part of this great group and I am looking forward to helping the team push on to the next level.”

First Team Manager Jakub Pietrzak said: “So pleased for Lucas to extend his stay at our club. His growth both on and off the pitch in the last 12 months was incredible. He has become such an influential player in this team.

“His ability to play a variety of positions and roles is so important for us. He is a pleasure to work with and I am excited to see him improve and grow as a Walton player.”
