The Swans take on Brackley Town at the Hub tomorrow afternoon in an FA Trophy clash that presents the chance to make club history.

We defeated Gosport Borough 2-0 last time out, with a first-half Johl Powell brace helping us to victory as we saw out plenty of pressure from our visitors after the break.

Brackley are yet to be in action in 2026 with their trip to Rochdale scheduled for last Saturday postponed. The Saints faced Boston United at the end of December and came away from Lincolnshire with a 2-1 victory.

Facing Brackley in the fourth round, we have the opportunity to go the furthest we ever have in the FA Trophy and Jakub Pietrzak will be hoping we can rise to the occasion against another tough opponent.

Journey to this stage

We started our FA Trophy journey away to Hayes & Yeading United, where we were victorious on penalties following a 0-0 draw.

In the First Round Proper, we welcomed Hendon to the Hub and romped to a 5-1 win with Anis Nuur netting two and Dawid Rogalski, Jack Wood and Zidane Yousuf also getting on the scoresheet.

Our next test came in the form of Farnborough in the second round, who we dispatched with a 2-1 victory as Rogalski opened the scoring before Johl Powell recreated last season’s heroics by netting the winner against the sixth tier side once again.

In the third round, we welcomed Sutton United, who play their football two divisions above us in the National League. Knowing we were by far the underdogs, we were prepared for the fight and stunned the U’s with a 4-1 triumph. A Mason Obeng hat-trick and Rogalski penalty saw off Chris Agutter’s side at the Hub.

As a National League side, Brackley only entered the competition in the last stage and needed penalties to overcome Boreham Wood after a highly contested 3-3 draw.

Head-to-head

This will be the first ever meeting between the Swans and Brackley Town.
