The Swans take on AFC Whyteleafe at the Hub as we look to continue our defence of the Surrey Senior Cup this evening.
We made history against in the FA Trophy with a 1-0 win over Brackley Town last time out. A scrappy goal by Mason Obeng late on sent us into the fifth round of the competition for the first time in club history.
Winless in four games, AFC Whyteleafe fell to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Sittingbourne in their previous outing.
It will be a slightly different Swans side to take on ‘Leafe this evening as a mix of first team and academy players are set to take to the pitch, but we will be looking to continue our defence of the county cup so we will be needing plenty of support behind us.
Journey to this stage
Facing off against South Park Reigate in the first round, we eased to a 2-0 win to begin our tournament run. A first-half Dawid Rogalski brace was enough to see off the Sparks back in October.
Whyteleafe hosted Carshalton Athletic in the previous stage, triumphing 5-4 on penalties following a thrilling 3-3 draw in regulation time.
Head-to-head
This will be our first ever meeting with AFC Whyteleafe, but we did take on their predecessors Whyteleafe FC several times.
